HealingWorks is a collective of Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs) who provide culturally responsive counseling for couples and individuals. I worked with Anastacia Sams, the founder of HealingWorks, to drive highly qualified organic traffic to the website.

Anastacia Sams founded HealingWorks to help people experience transformative healing by addressing racialized, environmental, and intergenerational patterns. The practice offers individual, couples, and premarital counseling with a culturally responsive lens.
I collaborated with Ana to set up her website for SEO success and increase website visibility in search engines. First, I conducted keyword research to better understand target audiences and their intent. Next, I used an SEO audit tool to scan her website to uncover common issues. With this information, I wrote keyword-focused title tags and meta descriptions across the website.

Website Optimization Opportunities
I noticed a key opportunity during the SEO audit: breaking individual therapy services into separate landing pages. This process allows for multiple entry points to a website and more pages to be indexed by Google. Plus, it provided a better user experience for visitors.
With this in mind, I crafted new copy for each service landing page that would attract visitors searching for a specific service. It also allowed more freedom to dive deeper into the incredible work HealingWorks provides so visitors can get to know their approach on a deeper level. I also used our keyword research to develop an evergreen topic list to build out HealingWorks’ blog.
